GREAT magnets and blocks all air as advertised. May get noisy.

I was SO sick of being cold in my office this summer. Have a thermostat in my office- I think it's just there for giggles. Tried a bunch of DIY half-baked ideas to cut off the ice flow from the ceiling. Finally bought this Elina-Draft item.

First found them via the web, and they would not let me buy. Website purchase didn't work, and they don't pick up the phone. Saw that Amazon was their preferred vendor. Ordered it and it showed up no issues.

First thing I'll say is that the magnets WORK and the dimensions perfectly fit the vent fitted into my drop ceiling. I did not factor for how LOUD my office would get once I had blocked off all of the airflow. It also affected the temp pretty drastically as I have a sun-filled office.

I decided to shift the cover over so about half of the air vent is open to vent. It definitely still affects room temp as my room is if anything a little warm now. Noise is still higher than comfortable- that should tell you how hard the vent had been blowing on me.

I thought about cutting holes in this one to match the other model (with the one-way vents) or returning it to get the other model but I just now went ahead and splurged on the other model too. I'll point the one-way opening at the window away from me. It is such a HUGE comfort factor that I can see myself switching them out as the seasons change.

My advice is to get the one with the slots diverting rather than blocking the airflow first. I'll update my review once I receive the other diffuser and install it.
